If it seems like a Haystack Bernedoodle will be a good fit for you, the next step is to secure a spot on our master waitlist.  To do so, you will need to return your signed copy of our purchase agreement (sent via email), as well as a  non-refundable $500 deposit towards the purchase price of the puppy.  Deposits are accepted via Zelle, Cash, PayPal (with additional 3% fee), or check.  We will then add you to the list based on the date and time your deposit was submitted.  

Prior to placing your deposit, we’ll let you know where you are in line and our estimate of when you can expect your new puppy.   We do our best to give a realistic timeframe, but because Mother Nature plays a large role in our business we cannot guarantee exact wait time or puppies from specific litters.  Beyond that, we allow flexibility in our waitlist (options to bump litters as stated above) in order to make sure that every family is bringing home the right puppy at the right time.  When people ahead in line bump, you move up on the list and may be given the opportunity to bring your puppy home sooner than expected.  

We know how exciting the anticipation of a new furry family member coming home is, and while we can’t make any promises about exact timing we can promise to keep you as informed as possible throughout the waiting period.  As soon as pregnancies are confirmed and litters are born, we will post an update on our Instagram @Haystackbernedoodles, so following along there is a great way to stay in the loop.  You are also welcome to check in with us as often as you’d like! 

As soon as the puppies reach one-two weeks of age, we begin notifying families in line.  If anyone decides to bump, we will continue down the list in order of deposits received.  Once your spot on the list for a litter is confirmed, congratulations! Only a few short weeks to go before one of our Bernedoodle babies is ready to join your family.

Despite many breeders choosing to base puppy selection on photos alone, we feel strongly that finding a puppy that fits your lifestyle and personality is incredibly important. For this reason, we invite families to come choose their puppy in-person (if possible) as soon as they reach six weeks of age.  We do our best to schedule visits in the order of deposits, that way you’ll know exactly which puppies are available to choose from. If you live out of state or can’t make it out for a visit, no worries! We have spent countless hours with every puppy in the litter, giving us a good understanding of their individual personalities by the time they reach six weeks. We are more than happy to help you choose the perfect puppy for your family via video or phone call.

In addition to providing an opportunity to meet and pick your new family member for years to come, these six week visits are also a perfect time to talk through the last details of puppy prep and answer any questions you may have.  You will go home with a TLC goodie bag, as well as our Puppy Packet containing information on food, vaccinations, NuVet supplements, training tips, exercise guidelines, and plenty more.  We love these appointments and enjoy meeting all of the great people who will be raising Haystack Bernedoodles!

Your puppy is officially ready to go home as soon as they reach eight weeks of age.  All of our puppies have been given their appropriate de-worming treatment every two weeks, as well as their first set of vaccinations.  You’ll receive details on both, as well as training and product recommendations, in a personalized puppy bag at the time of pick up.  We’ll also send you with a comforting blanket that smells like your puppies mother and littermates. At this time the remaining balance of the purchase price is also due.  

We are happy to offer delivery for those who live out of state.  Your puppy will sit comfortably at our feet throughout the flight, ensuring a stress free journey to their new home.  Our delivery fee is dependent upon location, so please inquire for more information.
