Recommended For Your Puppy

The market for pet products is a bloated and confusing place. From the basics like pet food and training, to more specific toys, crates, etc., there seems to be an endless cascade of options, and rarely are they as good as advertised. Over the years, our dogs have tried the gamut of products and we’ve gotten to see what works and what you should stay away from. We have personally researched and tested every product on this page, and recommend them based on our experience and belief in them.

TLC Dog Food

With so many pet foods to choose from, finding the right one can be overwhelming. Proper nutrition for our dogs is a top priority, and after much research we are convinced that TLC is the best food out there. Unlike most commercial foods, TLC’s ingredients arrive fresh daily from local farms and oceans, and are never frozen.  Instead of sitting on a shelf for months at a pet food store, your puppy’s food is delivered free to your home within two weeks of being made.  We have had wonderful results with TLC, and even our most picky eaters love the taste!

What makes TLC superior?

Meat First Formula:

  • TLC uses a protein-rich, low carbohydrate formula, following the ancestral diet of wild dogs. The protein comes from the highest quality sources, including New Zealand lamb, chicken, and Atlantic salmon. Fresh, real meat only! Never any by-produces or fillers.

Whole Life Herbal Pack:

  • TLC’s herbal pack includes all natural herbs, fruits and vegetables to promote heart, digestive, intestinal and circulatory system health.  This blend aids to protect against disease and inflammation, and promote healthy skin and a shiny coat.

Probiotics and Prebiotics

  • TLC contains the four most important types of probiotic beneficial bacteria, which help regulate the intestinal microbial environment.  A healthy microbial environment stops pathogens and harmful bacteria from colonizing in the digestive system, supporting whole life intestinal health.

  • TLC contains the prebiotics Mannan-Oligosaccharides and Chicory Root Extract to provide ideal nutrients for the probiotic beneficial bacteria.

Glucosamine and Chondroitin

  • Natural Glucosamine and Chondroitin work together as the building blocks of cartilage tissue, and help maintain cartilage for healthy joints and mobility.  For this reason, TLC contains guaranteed levels of natural Glucosamine and Chondroitin, helping your dog maintain healthy joints for a lifetime of activity.

Low Glycemic Index

  • The carbohydrate sources in TLC are low glycemic index and slow to digest, protecting your pet from obesity and diabetes.  TLC uses a mix of the best carbohydrates, including iron-rich oatmeal, whole grain barley, brown rice, millet, sweet potato and flaxseed.

Allergy-Free Formula

  • TLC is specially formulated to protect against allergies by avoiding common allergens such as corn, soy beans, wheat, or beef. Further, TLC contains quinoa and vitamin C for increased immune system health and stress protection.

BAXTER & Bella’s Online Puppy Academy

We are fortunate enough to have partnered with the online dog-training academy, Baxter and Bella, which is unlike anything we've seen.  Their curriculum has more depth than any book or trainer we've worked with, and we've found it to be an incredibly helpful resource for both ourselves and our community.  Their program is simple, straightforward, and has literally everything you'll need to successfully train your pup remotely.  Their convenient structure is broken into five units that include video coaching, weekly goals, and personal feedback (should you choose to reach out).  Our partnership offers a 25% discount on their entire curriculum, which we highly recommend you take advantage of.  Click on the image to the right for more details!
